The magnificent hotels are also on almost every corner and their services and facilities are second to none. If you are n a budget however, it is recommended you steer clear from those situated close to major attractions and look solely at those with two and three star ratings.
NY is of course famed for it's shopping centers but again, in order to save money, stay away from those near hotels.
In fact, it's not just the restaurants that are diverse but NY culture as a whole. The communities and the people who live within them are tight knit and are wonderful people.
Yes, there are those who have had some bad experiences but obviously the media plays it's part in portraying the negative side of NY, highlighting the negative and ignoring the positive.
