The Museum of Modern Art in New York, known by its acronym MoMA was founded in 1929 with the purpose of promoting the style of Modern Art it had its beginnings in the European artistic currents of the late 19.

Planning your visit to the Museum of Modern Art:

1. The Museum of Modern Art is located on Calle 53 between 5th and 6th Avenue. The museum is closed on Tuesdays, and a regular hour is 10:30 to 5:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The museum is open until 8PM on Friday afternoon, with free entry from 4pm to 8pm thanks to sponsorship from Target Stores. The free ticket is only as available in person at the box office of the museum.

2. The Museum of Modern Art can purchase tickets through their web page, which is recommended if you visit on a weekend or to attend an exhibition. Special. 7. Admission to the museum includes free audio guides in several languages for visitors with information on major works from the collection. The audio desk is on the first floor and requires photo identification for leaving the front desk. We do not accept credit cards or passports as identification.
